I've spent several weeks working with the HystWare software and am pleasantly surprised on it's abilities to quickly generate the information I am interested in. It's nice to have a good overview of the entire state; yet still be able to filter down to the specific data you are looking for. I like the quick map ability for getting a visual idea of what the area looks like and the Topo / Ariel combination is a must, especially when researching areas that a person hasn't actually visited yet. My initial concern was that with the application having so much data readily available, it would have some lag time in generating the results when filtering, but it retrieves it and displays the data extremely quickly.

I would however like to see the maps have an option that will show a higher level relation to where the location is. The current maps do a great job of showing the exact location, but being able to move out a bit would help in determining each specific locations relation to other area markers. This can be done relatively easily with my Delorme Topo software but would be nice to have it all inclusive.

Overall I think HystWare is a great tool for any prospector to have in their arsenal. It's a good quick reference as well as an "I wonder what's in this area" research tool as well. Job well done! I'll definitely be on the list for the next release!
